What does MIUI 14 offer?
With the event held by Xiaomi, we now have a good understanding of the important details of the new interface. Firstly, you will be able to uninstall many of the pre-installed apps that you no longer use but cannot remove due to system restrictions. Additionally, Xiaomi emphasizes the Photon Engine technology, which optimizes the performance of applications, particularly multiplayer games, and reduces the power consumption of third-party apps by 22%.
Another claim by the company is that system performance has significantly improved. With Android 13 and MIUI 14, the system fluidity has increased by 88%. Despite this improvement, there is a 16% reduction in power consumption. Although the system performance has been enhanced, Xiaomi’s data shows that MIUI 14 occupies 23% less space compared to the previous version.
This result is achieved through the reevaluation and redevelopment of the MIUI interface. The new MIUI 14 is not only faster than previous versions but also more stable and occupies less space. However, it is worth noting that these improvements are optimized for models with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, 8 Gen 1+, and the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processors.
MIUI 14 also introduces a feature called “Super Icons.” With this feature, which allows you to add different symbols to the home screen, you can create a more vibrant theme.
